Looking for something fun to do with the family for 4th of July in Lake Eufaula? Good news—Lake Eufaula Independence Day Fireworks and Celebrations are plentiful!! We love a good fireworks show, but other fun things are happening in the area for the whole holiday weekend. Whether you are looking to bring the kids out for water fun, hanging on the lake, or just a snack and some time outdoors, we have you covered.

We’ve included a list of some of our favorite events below. Get your friends and family together, dress up in your patriotic colors, and make plans to celebrate!

CARLTON LANDING
Saturday, July 1

Looking for a few things to do with the kids? Carlton Landing has multiple fun events and plenty of activities for the whole family to keep you busy from morning till night. 

Patriotic Kids Parade
10:00am

Bring your favorite noise makers to the Pavilion for a patriotic parade around Boulevard. The parade is open to everyone … .furry pals included. Bring your bike, scooter, or just your walking shoes for this fun time. Make sure to get there around 9:30 with decor for the decorating session before the parade’s start at 10am. This event is free to attend and open to the public.

Tie Dye with Folds of Honor
11:00am

Folds of Honor invites you to a fun tie-dye event at Lakefront Pavilion at 11 am. Join us to honor our heroes who have fought for our freedom, as well as their families who have sacrificed so much while learning more about their mission.

Freedom Fest and Fireworks
7:30pm

Enjoy a fun celebration of food trucks, games, and live music!! Inflatables will also be set up on water street at 6:30pm as well as Kids Zone Activities to keep the kiddos busy. 

Fireworks will be shown at sundown. This is such a fun event for everyone and is free to the public.

CHECOTAH/LAKE EUFAULA WEST
Saturday, July 1 | weekend long event

Come to Checotah for a fireworks spectacular on July 1st! Fireworks will start around 8:45, so make sure you bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the show. 

All weekend long, there will be fun activities for kids and adults alike, such as swimming in the pool, a train ride, and everyone’s favorite–s’mores! A food truck from Starla’s Sloppy Hog will also be on hand to serve some delicious eats during the event.

MUSKOGEE
Saturday, July 1 | 11:00am

Downtown Muskogee is excited to host the Muskogee Independence & Frontier Days Parade. Join to kick off the Independence Day weekend with this patriotic parade that runs down Broadway from 2nd to 6th. In celebration of this fun summer holiday, local businesses and rodeo participants will be decked out in their finest 4th of July attire.

Don’t forget–the Frontier Days Rodeo will be going on that night at Hatbox! Bring your family and friends and join in this annual celebration. 

CITY OF EUFAULA
Monday, July 3

The city of Eufaula’s 4th of July celebration is always a great time! This year’s firework spectacular is scheduled to start at sundown on July 3rd and is free to attend. 

Bring family and friends to enjoy the colorful firework show and celebrate our nation’s freedom! Set from Nichols Point, the show can be enjoyed either on land or on a boat in the lake if you are looking for a cool and fun way to watch the show.

Besides the amazing firework show, there are plenty of other activities for the family to enjoy.
